French onion soup is made with lightly sautéed onions cooked in meat stock or water. It is usually served as a gratin with croutons or in large pieces with cheese on top.

Paella is a rice dish cooked in a special pan – a shallow, round, flat-bottomed frying pan with handles on both sides. This dish is stir-fried with a generous mix of ingredients such as vegetables, seafood and meat. After adding Japonica rice and water, saffron is used as a yellow coloring to complete the cooking process.

Currywurst is a fast food dish of German origin consisting of steamed, fried sausage, usually pork, typically cut into bite-sized chunks and seasoned with curry ketchup, a sauce based on spiced ketchup or tomato paste topped with curry powder, or a ready-made ketchup seasoned with curry and other spices. The dish is often served with french fries.

Kofta is a type of meatball or meatloaf dish. Revani is a classic Greek and Turkish dessert made from semolina, sugar, and flour. Depending on the recipe variations, flavourings such as vanilla, lemon zest, or rose water are added. The cake is characterized by its overpowering sweetness, which results from soaking it in sugar syrup after it has been baked.
